Alright, let’s talk about this bag I’ve been working on. It’s a remake of that fancy Yves Saint Laurent YSL JUNE BOX BAG. Yeah, the classic style, looks just like a box. I saw those young girls carrying them around, and I thought, “I can make that!”
So, I decided to give it a shot. I got myself some leather, some tools, and started figuring things out. It wasn’t easy, I tell ya. Cutting the leather, stitching it together, making sure everything lined up just right. There were times I messed up, had to start over. But I kept at it.
- First, I made a pattern. I looked at pictures of the real YSL bag online, studied its shape, its size, how it all came together. Then I drew out my own pattern on some paper, cut it out, and used that as a guide.
- Next, I cut the leather. This was tricky. I had to make sure I cut along the lines perfectly, or else the whole thing would be wonky. I used a sharp knife and a steady hand.
- Then came the stitching. This part took the longest. I used a needle and thread, and stitched each piece of leather together by hand. It was slow going, but I wanted to make sure it was strong and durable.
- I added the hardware. The YSL bag has these shiny metal pieces, like the logo and the clasp. I found some similar-looking ones online and attached them to my bag.
It took a while, but finally, I finished it. My very own YSL JUNE BOX BAG remake! It might not be the real deal, but I’m proud of it. I made it with my own two hands. It’s not perfect, mind you. There are a few wonky stitches here and there, but that’s okay. It’s got character.
Now, I can carry my things around in style. My wallet, my keys, they all fit perfectly in my new box bag. And you know what? It feels good to carry something I made myself. It’s like a little piece of me, wherever I go.
They say this JUNE BOX is special, “bulbous” they call it. I don’t know, maybe it means round. I just know it’s a good bag. It’s gonna last, and it makes me feel good to carry it. And that’s what matters, right?
So, if you’re ever thinking of making your own bag, don’t be afraid to try. It’s not as hard as it looks. Just take your time, be patient, and have fun with it. You might surprise yourself with what you can create.
And if you’re looking at this YSL JUNE BOX BAG, well, mine might not be a real YSL, but it’s my YSL, and it’s even better in my book, hope you like it too!
