I wanted to try and make a Prada bag, just like the one in their official store. The name’s “Medium Prada Galleria Saffiano Leather Bag”. I’m not gonna lie, it looked pretty tough at first, but I was like, “Why not give it a shot?”

Getting Started

First things first, I needed to get all the stuff together. I went online and found some real nice Saffiano leather. It’s the same kind Prada uses, all textured and tough. Then, I got some strong thread, the right needles, and all those little metal pieces like the logo and buckles.

Cutting and Sewing

This was the hard part. I had to cut the leather into the right shapes. I used some patterns I found online, but honestly, I had to guess a bit too. It took a bunch of tries to get it right. Sewing was also no joke. I don’t have one of those fancy machines, so I did it all by hand. My fingers were sore, but I kept at it.

Putting it Together

Once I had all the pieces sewn, I started to put them together. I followed some videos I found, but they weren’t for this exact bag, so I had to figure some stuff out on my own. It was like a puzzle. I messed up a few times and had to take things apart and start over.

The Finishing Touches

The last step was adding the metal pieces. This was actually kinda fun. I got to see the bag really coming together. I put on the Prada logo, the zippers, and the buckles. It felt good to see it all shiny and new.

The Result

It took me a while, but I finally finished it! It’s not perfect, that’s for sure. There are some messy stitches and a few parts that aren’t quite straight. But you know what? I made it myself, and it looks pretty darn close to the real thing. I even used it a couple of times, and nobody could tell it wasn’t a real Prada.

  • I did it, guys.
  • I really made a bag that looks like a real Prada.
  • It is not easy, but so cool to see it finished.

So, yeah, that’s my story about making my own “Prada” bag. It was a wild ride, but I learned a ton. Maybe next time, I’ll try something a bit easier, haha!
